UK Servers offers four distinct secure backup options to use with your hosted servers allowing you to select the ideal backup storage solution based on your security, reliability and economical requirements.
Options include Veeam, CDP, FTP or a local drive and the comparison table below will help you compare the features and advantages of each solution at a glance.
Veeam CDP FTP Local Drive
Veeam
Veeam
Virtual Machine Backup & Replication
Veeam Backup & Replication is a powerful, easy-to-use and affordable backup and availability solution. It provides fast, flexible and reliable recovery of virtualised applications and data, bringing VM (virtual machine) backup and replication together in a single software solution.
CDP
CDP
Continuous Data Protection Technology
CDP technology starts by taking a full snapshot of your data. After the initial replica is created, Server Backup Manager continuously monitors changes to your data and saves only those bits of information that have changed. Since you’re not constantly running full, performance-killing backups, your system’s I/O operations aren’t taxed in any way, keeping those critical resources free to serve your clients’ needs.
FTP
FTP
Remote storage space accessible via FTP, RSYNC, SFTP and NFS
Backups can be taken nightly, weekly and monthly and stored as required. Backup storage space is supplied at remote sites over 100 geographical miles from the datacentre your server is located. If you opt for our Level 3 Server Management or above and choose this backup method your backups will be monitored by UK Servers.
Local Drive
Local Drive
Backups stored within your server
ocal Backup Storage is a direct attached storage drive within your dedicated server. Local backup storage can provide large amounts of fast, cost effective backup storage for applications not demanding their backups are hosted in a separate datacentre or outside of their existing server environment.
